Our office
Our office was founded just one year before the change of political system in 1987, under the name of Dr. Péter Bárdos Law Office. The office concentrated its activity on legal matters concerning foreign investments in Hungary and international trade. The office was joined by Dr. Rita Bárdos in 1995 and by Dr. Antal Dezső in 2004.
From the very beginning our primary aim has been, besides offering solutions to different problems related to foreign investors, to present legal services in those fields that require special knowledge and experience.
These fields are:
- insurance and damage liability (including computer processing a country-wide data base of court praxis of several years concerning non-pecuniary damage)
- national and international transportation and forwarding
- international trade
- foreign investments in Hungary and Hungarian investments in abroad
- European law
- public procurement (PPP)

- economic and traffic penalty law

During the years after foundation a characteristic structure of clients has been formed: the overwhelming part of our clients are Austrian, German and Swiss companies, a smaller part is coming from either an English language territory or from Hungary. Among our clients we have banks, insurance companies, as well as large, medium and small industrial and commercial enterprises, forwarding agencies and private individuals.
